Significant Site Upgrade

News About AaronAaron's site has been updated for Staff and Therapists with an online process to help our mobile team develop tailored curriculum for Aaron's Self Design program!

News About AaronAaron has been working very hard on his apraxia with weekly appointments with SLP and daily intervention. He has gotten the hang of quite a few consonants (p, b, m, d, g, l, s, f, t, sometimes n) and vowels (O said like ew and oh, U said like uh, A said like apple, still struggles sometimes with E like in cheese) and is now starting vowel consonant combinations! He can now say ball, bubbles, off... and slowly assemble the parts of food - and trys to mimic syllables for longer words like tortilla.

New Speech Programming

Aaron's SLP has recently provided sheets on proper mouth formation of certain letters and vowels, and Aaron is practicing these daily with special activities around each letter. He has begun to do a great job with his oral imitation! See the Daily Work Pages in Week 3 of his Summer Program for more information, or log in as a member (or become a member) to access the Downloads section, they're all available under the Home Speech Program section! So far we're working on p, b, m, and various short and long vowels.
